The University of Ghana Pharmacy Students’ Association celebrated UGPSA Week from July 21 to 26, 2025.

The theme for the celebration was “Beyond the Counter: Shaping the future of healthcare” and was aimed at enriching the student experience beyond the traditional roles of pharmacists.

The celebration which formed part of the College of Health Sciences 25th Anniversary celebration,  featured an array of events including panel discussions with seasoned pharmacists, a leadership development workshop, study abroad seminar, a public health outreach, a cooking competition and a sports tournament (Dean’s Cup).

The Dean’s Cup Tournament featured contests between students and staff.

Community Outreach/Health Screening in Kitasi, Yaw Duodu and Obodan in the Eastern Region.

Tree Planting Exercise at the Chipa Forest Reserve in the Shai-Osudoku District of the Greater Accra Region as part of efforts towards preserving the forest and contributing to reforestation.

The cooking competition featured representatives from each class in the School of Pharmacy.
