Current Research

My research focuses on:

  1. Isolation, identification and characterisation of compounds of medicinal benefit from plants, focusing on anticancer, anti-inflammatory and anti-infective agents of ethnomedicinal benefits.
  2. Pharmacognostic identification, quality assessment and documentation of ethnomedicinal plants.
  3. Herbal medicine production and quality assurance.
  4. Biological assay (anticancer, anti-inflammatory, anti-infective and toxicity) of extracts and compounds from ethnomedicinal plants.
